Last but not least, as with any new Season a new Battle Pass is always in store, allowing players to complete Daily and Weekly challenges to earn rewards like Legendary skins, reactive weapon skins and more! You can deploy an Evac Tower at any location, and use the zipline to hurdle back into the air to redeploy somewhere new. Now Evac Towers are a usuable item, found from floor loot, Loot Bins, and Care Packages. You might be familiar with "balloons" like these at fixed locations on Apex Legends maps, used to launch yourself back into the air for a quick getaway. Perhaps most exciting, you can enter the Firing Range with your squadmates to practice before a match, or even duel with friends.Ĭustomize your practice experience with customizable dummies, improved targets, and dynamic stats that track your performance in the Firing Range in real time.Ī ready escape sits in the palm of your hand. In this new Firing Range, you can test out different Apex Legends, weapons, attachments, and gear. Not only has the area been massively expanded, but you can find a new Agility Course and Duel Pit. Now the Firing Range has not only received an entire revamp to its location, but you can expect to do much more with it starting in Season 17. There's a new vault to be found in World's Edge, and this one can be found in a tunnel leading to Skyhook in the northwest corner of the map.Īdditionally, you can expect to find Skyhook covered in a new layer of fresh snow, changing both the aesthetics of this Point of Interest and creating new paths for traversal.įrom now on, the Mirage a Trois "Party" POI will only be found in the World's Edge map. Seeing as the epicenter is so dangerous now, you will also find some ziplines spanning the stretch of lava to make traversal a little easier. Now the center of the Harvester is filled with lava to the brim. Similiarly, Harvester has also been tweaked in light of the "lava updraft" mechanic being removed in World's Edge. Instead, if you choose you can cross these Lava Fissures on foot, albeit with some hot feet. The updrafts of air that occured atop these lava streams, lifting up players who stepped atop them, no longer exist. Now the Lava Fissures in World's Edge have been filled nearly to the top. That's right, the lava updraft is no more. Now this area has a range of different building, placing a stronger emphasis on vertical traversal. The "Construction Stack" of Fragment is gone, but not forgotten. Now the heart of this location is the Monument Museum, a testament to the history of the Apex Legends games.
